Travelling to Malmö for a workshop?
Malmö is a fantastic city bursting with creativity offering a great selection of restaurants and bars, and well as excellent places to visit such as galleries, museums and parks. With a population of around 300,000 Malmö is easy to navigate, and it's proximity to Copenhagen and the rest of Europe makes it highly accessible. To help you make the most out of your trip we've put together some lists you might find useful!
GETTING HERE
The closest airport to Malmö is Copenhagen/Kastrup which is just 15 minutes away by train from Malmö Triangeln or Malmö Central. Regular buses and trains also connect Malmö Central and Copenhagen Central with other part's of Europe. Our studio is located around 20 minutes walk from Malmö Central, or 10 minutes walk from Malmö Triangeln Station. There are also plenty of buses that stop a few minutes walk away from the studio (Davidshall or Gustav Adolf Torg bus station), servicing many different parts of the city.
- Fly to Copenhagen/Kastrup airport, then a 15 min train to Malmö central (ticket’s can be purchased at the airport)
- Take a train or bus with regular arrivals into both Copenhagen and Malmö from various parts of Europe: FLIXXBUS, TRAINLINE
GETTING AROUND MALMÖ
Malmö is a flat, walkable city where getting around is easy by bike, bus, or on foot within 15-20 minutes.
Here are some tips for getting around whilst in Malmö:
- Local buses run regularly and can be used by tapping on with a bank card. To see bus routes and travel planner visit Skånetrafiken

PLACES TO STAY
Our studio is centrally located in Davidshall, Malmö with many nearby accommodation options. AirBnB offers budget friendly stays with highly rated hosts just a 10-15 minute walk away. Hotel N Hostel provides affordable private rooms with shared bathrooms, while mid range options include Elite Hotels and Scandic Hotels offer a comfortable stay close by, including a buffet breakfast.
If your looking to make your weekend extra special MJ's is a lovely little boutique hotel offering a beautiful experience in the old part of town, just a 10 minute walk from our studio.
